My Story
After four years of hard work, late nights, and showing up as a full-time student AND a whole person, Miko is officially crossing the stage on May 9th with a degree in Environmental Science from Howard University! Help Miko celebrate this major milestone! ??? In September 2025, my car was totaled by a drunk driver — something completely out of my hands. As I step into this new chapter after graduation, getting reliable transportation is my top priority. Any contribution toward a new set of wheels means the world and will help me get to work, stay independent, and keep moving forward. I'm stepping into the real world and need to look (and feel) the part! Gift cards to Amazon, HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Loft, and Express will help me build a wardrobe ready for the office and stock my first real home with the essentials. Think blazers, home décor, kitchen must-haves — all the things that make adulting a little more exciting. One of my biggest dreams is to experience the world beyond the classroom — whether that's studying abroad or teaching English in another country. Contributions to this fund will go toward flights, housing, program fees, and the day-to-day costs of living and learning in a new place. Help me turn this dream into my next great adventure!
