My Story
My journey into psychology started with a simple curiosity about people, how we think, connect, and grow. That curiosity led me to Prairie View A&M University, where I have pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to conduct research in the psychology department and to collaborate on projects with the VA, experiences that have deepened my passion for research and for understanding human behavior.One of the most exciting parts of my journey has been working alongside my research advisor to contribute to published work and traveling to conferences to present our research. I’ve also been honored to be involved in Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and the American Psychological Association community.Outside of academics, I love unwinding with a good book, going on random side quests with friends, trying new food spots, building LEGO sets, and playing video games together. As I continue into graduate school, I’m excited to keep exploring big questions in psychology and making a meaningful impact through research.
